July is a busy month for accountants. Payroll tax forms 941, Virginia
& West Virginia state income tax withheld, Virginia Employment
Commission, and 940 deposits are all due. Quarterly sales tax filers
must send in the second quarter sales taxes collected as well.

July is also vacation month. My mother happens to have a time share
in Virginia Beach, which of course is always in July.

I still have a bunch of tax extensions still active. I like to start
scheduling tax appointments in August. If you haven't gotten your
taxes done yet lets plan on doing that next month.
