Payroll tax forms 941, Virginia
& West Virginia state income tax withheld, Virginia Employment
Commission, and 940 deposits are all due. Quarterly sales tax filers
must send in the second quarter sales taxes collected as well.

July is also vacation month. My mother happens to have a time share
in Virginia Beach, which of course is always in July.

I still have a bunch of tax extensions still active. I like to start
scheduling tax appointments in August. If you haven't gotten your
taxes done yet lets plan on doing that next month.

New Blog

I used to think of myself as 'technologically' savvy...but each year it seems I fall farther & farther behind. On the other hand, it could just be that my patience for learning new things has reduced to almost ZERO!

But as usual, I've got this nagging little voice on my shoulder telling me "you need to start a blog" or "your website is terribly outdated" or "why don't you have a downloadable .pdf of your tax checklist online yet?"

So, here is my attempt to tackle one of those projects...my new blog!

Now, having said all this, I must ask that you be patient with me as I experiment. I hope I can keep it updated fairly often with tidbits of information that you might find useful.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog.
